Celebrities may have cash, a guest list involving Johnny Depp and a Michelin-starred chef preparing the entrees but it is possible to have a celebrity style wedding day – and on a budget!

So let’s think like a celebrity.

1. Make an entrance! Ask your venue to dim the lights slightly at your reception, ask your venue to instruct your guests to get their camera phones ready, ask the DJ/band to play an epic entrance song! Go the whole 9 yards – it’s your wedding day! Or if you really wanted to WOW why not hire the PAPARRAZI to snap away at you and your guests for the ultimate celebrity experience!

Why not make an entrance even more amazing and surprise your partner with an incredible performance or flash mob! Get all your friends and family in on the surprise and twerk like Beyonce! Or, if you’re not one for a solo, why not ask the DJ to put your initials in lights on the dance floor?

2. Want to experience your wedding like a true celebrity? Get it featured a few days after in an actual glossy magazine! Yes, this can be done!! There are lots of wedding magazines that feature ‘real weddings’ and the more interesting you make your wedding the more likely you are to get into them!

Magazines such as ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Bride publish real weddings that are normally on the alternative/quirky side and County Wedding Magazine feature more traditional style weddings.

3. Make your wedding dress a bold fashion statement.

In this day and age, it’s not so much about the religious aspect of marriage but rather the joining of two people who love each other. Why not go for a sexy statement wedding gown like Kim Kardashian?

Or go totally OTT and have your kids design your wedding dress like Angelina Jolie!

4. Create an experience they will never forget!

You may not have the budget for Taylor Swift or Ed Sheeran (boo) but you could still have a tribute to them or an actual live band! Check out Warble, an entertainment agency that features incredible performers like Paul Ace.

It’s easy to view the acts as they all have their own listings where you can watch their videos, listen to what they do and find out more about them. But, why stop there?

Have you ever known Lady Gaga to have just ONE type of entertainment?

Why not go for a magic act for during the wedding breakfast or a mind reader for the drinks reception?

Celebrities are known for their variety of party entertainment after all!

I can personally recommend a very good magician (and friend of mine) Matthew Ramsell Magic and the equally amazing mind reader Looch
